After 100 hours of programming and 10,000 lines of code (give or take), I am thrilled to announce the launch of Print Watchdog. This software-as-a-service application allows print shop owners the ability to track all of their printing jobs online.
With the easy at-a-glance main page everyone in the shop can quickly see the current status of any job. Production managers can use the information to create a better workflow based on upcoming deadlines and delivery dates — all from their Print Watchdog account.
Individual job tickets show a complete history, including the amount of time spent in each department and the the total production time for the job. The job tickets have a print friendly format which may eliminate the need for other job tracking paperwork.
This online print shop workflow manager was designed to offer the printing industry a low-cost way to monitor jobs and improve productivity without the need for locally-installed software. To learn more or to sign up, visit the Print Watchdog website.
