In my spare time (ha ha) I enjoy writing PHP scripts that may help someone save a few minutes here or there. Most come about as a result of my own need for something, but a few I’ve written in response to requests from friends or colleagues. Below is a list of PHP scripts I’ve written that are free for you to download and use.

WordPress Plugins

WP-Testimonials - lets you display your customer/client/product testimonials on your blog. Includes an option to display a random testimonial in your sidebar and/or show all testimonials on one page (page template included). This plugin includes a widget.

Category tagging widget - adds a widget for the tag cloud feature of Michael Woehrer’s Category Tagging plugin.

Geeklog Plugins

Testimonials - a plugin that will manage and display your customer/client testimonials. The install script automatically creates a block that will show a different testimonial each time a page loads. A master page is also included to show all of your testimonials together.

General PHP Scripts

PHPeasy-form - a PHP form mail handler developed to aid website owners in receiving feedback through website forms. This script is not intended for use other than to collect legitimate contact from website visitors.

PHPTime-Conversion - a script to convert user entered 12-hour time to the 24-hour time used by mySQL. It automatically checks user-entries for AM or PM and modifies the time accordingly before inserting the data into your table.
