Bug fixes to WP-Testimonials

After trying unsuccessfully to recreate the blank page problem, I have rewritten some of the query code to hopefully resolve the issue for those experiencing the blank page.  The newest release, WP-Testimonials 3.4.1, is now available at the WP Plugin Directory and should show up in your dashboard sometime today as an available upgrade.

I would love to hear if these changes have solved the mysterious blank page problem, so, please post your feedback on the comment thread at the WP-Testimonials page and let me know.

  1. Great plugin, very easy to use.

    Requests:
    1) Video support – would be great to embed testimonial videos hosted on YouTube (or elsewhere).
    2) Anchor links – the sidebar link displays the testimonial page however it would be great for it to display the page at the correct point (using anchored links?) so a user could read the rest of the testimonial included in the widget without needing to scroll (and search) for it somewhere within the whole testimonials page.
    3) Filtering/sorting – As the number of testimonials increases, the testimonials page gets longer and longer, eventually being too long to be helpful. Would be great to add a ‘category’ field so the testimonials page could be filtered when it gets too long.

  2. I am new to your plugin, but I seem to be suffering from the blank page that others are. I have tried the latest upgrade (3.4.1) but it still did not seem to do the trick. I just thought I’d let you know.

    Thanks for the plugin!

Hi, just a minor bug that I have found in v3.4.1 that you might want to fix.

When tabbing through elements on the “Add New Testimonial” page, the website box gets cleared everytime it gets focus, even if you have entered something in it. This is very annoying when you just want to slightly alter the current entry (add “www.” for example).

Other then this, I think the plugin is awesome and have used it on a few of our websites so far! Thanks for making it :)
