Required fields command included with PHPeasy-form version 3.0

This easy to configure script makes it possible for website owners to receive legitimate contact information from site visitors.

A popular request for my PHP mail handler has been making fields
required. This latest update in the PHPeasy-form series offers the
ability to check specific fields to ensure they are not blank. This script also has the option of writing form results to a file. Writing the results to a file
helps ensure you always have a backup of the forms sent through your
website.

Newest Geeklog release includes HTML text editor

February 8, 2006 by Jodi · Leave a Comment

Website owners now have the opportunity to be more hands-on and reduce the need to hire a web designer to make minor site updates. The latest release of the Geeklog content management system includes FCKeditor, an open source HTML text editor.

The editor is similar in nature to common word processing applications. Each text box has a java-based toolbar immediately above it. The toolbar provides the ability to control text formatting (bold, italic, color, size, alignment) and also gives users the ability to insert images, tables and horizontal lines. Other features include adding/removing hyperlinks, copy/paste from Word (with cleanup) and undo/redo buttons.

New PHP script - convert 12 hour time to 24 hour mySQL format

June 23, 2005 by Jodi · Comments Off

In an effort to assist web developers with creating forms using a mySQL database, but needing AM and PM for time entries on the user-side, I am pleased to announce the availability of the PHP-TimeConversion script.

This script converts user entered 12-hour time to the 24-hour time used by mySQL. It automatically checks user-entries for AM or PM and modifies the time accordingly before inserting the data into your table.

New version of PHPEasy-form available

May 16, 2005 by Jodi · Comments Off

The original PHPEasy-form has been extremely popular as an alternative to CGI form processors. Many folks have contacted me and expressed their thanks for this free script. One of the most popular requests I receive is to have the form results saved in a file in addition to going through email.
