My political statement for the day
Why is it every time I read the political news I see another resignation? I am reminded of an image of rats desperately trying to get off a sinking boat. Here is a list of recent folks to abandon ship.

- Aug 31, 2007 - White House press secretary Tony Snow
- Aug 27, 2007 - Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales
- Aug 13, 2007 - Karl Rove, Adviser to President Bush
Maybe it’s just me, but this sure doesn’t give me much faith in our current leadership. Of course, that isn’t anything new for this administration… I haven’t had much faith in it since it stole the first election.

Only one REALLY BIG rat left, eh?
It’s exhausting work - keeping the nation free from harm. I don’t think Clinton or Obama could do as well - in fact these things make democrats queezy, and generally they would bend to pacify the populists. I don’t think you’d want to hear it, though.
