Moving comments in posts made easy
The site is finally shaping up to where I want it. After some consideration, I decided to do away with ZenCart and run everything through WordPress. I have transferred all of the items from the shopping cart to the main site. Each needed to be handled in its own way, but I like the changes. The free PHP script downloads each have their own page now where I can keep information updated if there is ever a new release. The hosting accounts now go through a subscription payment system.
During this transfer, I realized several comments/suggestions for PHPeasy-form were scattered on previous posts and announcements from different releases. I wanted to consolidate all of these comments to the new download page without having to manually edit each one. I found the answer with a plugin from Oz Politics. It lets you move individual or multiple comments to other posts or pages quickly. This was great to get everything assigned to the new page.
I’m still looking for a plugin or code to sort my comments in reverse chronological order. This would be especially handy for the PHP script pages where users often posts questions or support requests. By changing the display order, visitors could see the most recent questions first and more than likely find the answer they need without having to post a comment/question of their own.
