Half of clutch #2 hanging in there

Half of this clutch was lost today. The 11 eggs I disposed of had already begun to mold. There are 11 eggs remaining and several of these (4) have early indicators they will go bad in the next week or so. There are 4 that appear to be growing extremely well with the other 3 questionable. The humidity had dropped to the mid-70s (the tray in the bottom was dry). So, I slightly misted each egg container, combined the remaining eggs into 2 bins and added water to the tray. The temperature is now at 83 and humidity is back up to 88%.

I wish I knew what was causing the eggs to go bad. With no hatchlings from the first clutch and half the second already gone, I’m concerned I’ve missed something in the incubation process. I’m now checking the humidity everyday (through the window - I’m not opening the lid). It is staying steady around 88%. Hopefully, that was the problem and if I stay on top of keeping the water tray filled, we’ll have a few eggs hatch successfully this time.
