The Sims are finally settled in on the desktop
The desktop may be the final place for my Sims after all. I played part of the weekend on the laptop and it wasn’t as clear as the flat screen monitor. I guess I’m spoiled now. The laptop also gets very hot, which makes it uncomfortable after awhile. Even with the chillpad and a towel, I can only stand an hour or two at a time.

Reconnecting with the (new) neighborhood
Now that the network is playing nice and the machines are all speaking, I thought it time to finish installing my toys on the XPS. I haven’t played the Sims 2 in several months. I was really surprised it had been that long, but when I checked my backup file, the last time I played was in June.

SunFrogServices.com launches redesigned, expanded website
SunFrogServices.com (www.SunfrogServices.com) has unveiled a new website, designed to make it easier for visitors to find the services, PHP scripts, technical assistance and small business news they need.
The site offers several original GNU (open source) scripts for free download. These scripts include:
- A PHP form processor script (which sends form information to the website owner via email without exposing the email address to spammers)
- A testimonials plugin for the Geeklog content management system
- Project tracker a small windows-based program that allows contract workers (including virtual assistants and outsourcing professionals) to time up to three projects simultaneously
More scripts, both paid and free, are continually added to the site.

The network is back online
The laptop continued to not play nice with the other machines. I could finally see it from the desktop, but could not access it nor could I see any of the machines from the laptop. I finally came to the decision it had to do with a network protocol or service. Uninstalling and reinstalling had not worked. And, my gut said its never really gone when you delete it. (you know how windows likes to keep ghost copies of things just hanging around)
