Well, I’ve decided that the freeze-dried insects are just not going to do it. I managed to get Neo and Trinity to eat a few if they were mixed in with something moving (namely mealworms), but beyond that it just didn’t happen. Athena and Aphrodite picked around the dead ones and Morpheus did the same.I can buy worms in bulk rather inexpensively, and keep them in the refrigerator where they don’t escape through the house like the crickets did. My lizards all love the worms, so I’m going to stick with that. I’m mixing it up with waxworms and supers on occasion, but the bulk of their live diet is now mealworms.

I’ve been using the adult bearded dragon diet from Rep-Cal for their veggie supplements. They like it and it’s easy to prepare. I alternate with fresh greens and squash so they always have a variety in their diet.
